Im is 7th grade, (yes im 13) and theres a new kid at my school. He is an 8th grader and i have only talked to him one time and that was because somebody told him i sed he has big hands, and he asked me if I really said it. well i would personaly first introduce myself and then ask him a question or tell him you didn't get the assighnment and that you were wondering if he could help you.(even if you do really get it, it makes them feel like there smarter) or just give him a simple compliment like i like that shirt where did you get it? just something to strike up a normal conversation. well i hope i helped.
