I'm a cool chico, and I try to help others to love themselves. It's a rough world out there, but grawr, I can handle it.
Since this comes up so often, let's make this very clear: You can not pick and choose where you want to lose fat. Exercising your abs will make your abs strong - but losing tummy fat is dependent on your body fat percentage and genetics.

Hey, I'm pretty skinny (95 lbs), but I want to get abs. If I did 100 crunches a night, would that do it, and if it would, how long do you think it would take? Thank you!!! (link)

Actually, an easier way is to GOTO a gym that has abdominal weight machines. They're out there. A few reps at high weight is more effective than killing yourself doing crunches.

True, but I don't have the time to go to a gym...
