Since this comes up so often, let's make this very clear: You can not pick and choose where you want to lose fat. Exercising your abs will make your abs strong - but losing tummy fat is dependent on your body fat percentage and genetics.

One of my best friends is this guy rite? well i dont like him as anything more then just a friend.... but he likes me. He asked me out the other day and i told him that i just cared about him too much to go out with him. That i didnt want to ruin our friendship over something stupid like a highschool romance. He still keeps grabbing my hand and yesterday he kissed me on the top of the head. its getting really wierd and its depressing the hell out of me, plus its giving everyone the wrong impression. He's the sweetest guy ever and i dont want to hurt him. i dont want to tell him that i dont want a bf right now because i DO, just not him. And im hoping this other kid asks me out. Its getting really annoying, like hes being really clingy, i cant even hang out with other people without him just coming over! He hangs out with me before school, at break, at lunch, after school, calls me everyday, and now im going to be going to church with him. Hes sweeter then any guy ive ever met, but i feel like i cant breathe.
I need help! Please, ASAP, give good advice and ill rate high! (link)

High school friendships fade fast. You care about him too much? If you want to spare him a broken heart, let your actions match your words. By letting him be affectionate with you, you're saying, "You're allowed to be affectionate with me." Push him away, or the behavior will continue. Be firm.
