It's when two people are just friends, but still do sexual things together. Such as makeout, oral sex, or actual sex. It's sex without the relationship. If it works right, you guys can have casual sex without any emotional involved. Meaning, you can hook up with you Friend with Benefits one night, and then go hook up with some one else a few days after, and they don't get jealous or mad like people in a relationship would. But it's usually never that easy. Some one usually always gets emotionally involved. Sure, it starts out as "I'm horny and single, so are you, let's just have sex together. Problem solved"...But it gets more complicated later down the road...
