Well me and my girlfriend have been going out for a month and a half, and I really have fallen in love with her. She says she has too and I believe her. Now shes says though that she wants to take like a break for maybe about a week. Now during this break were suppose to be pretty much still going out, but with like no strings attached. She wants to make sure that if given the chance we wouldn't do anything with someone else or we could and see if we still felt the same way about each other. I understand why she wants to do this becuase we've both been done wrong by other gfs/bfs. She just wants to make sure the relationship lasts before diving in head first. I agreed to do this, but still want other people's opinions.

this break could be a good thing. it can show you if she is really in love with you or was just loving what she had. also it will give you a chance to straighten out any doubts you might have. if i were you i wouldnt worry because they say absence makes the heart grow fonder
