What's up? Well, I'm sure like each and every other advice columnist is that, we all enjoy giving advice . I like to keep things real and you'll find out how real when you ask me a question . I'm getting advice for my friend.. Ok, well my friend is going out with this great guy, adn when she told her mom that he liked her.. She ssaid taht she should only be friends with him.. How can she tell her mom they are going out without hurting her feelings???

She should very calmly try and talk and explain to her mom that he's a really nice guy and that he treats her with respect. She should also try to stress the issue of getting to know him and accepting the relationship a little. It'll take time but you need to tell her that they feel comfortable around each other and that's all that really matters.
