Salutation
Who I am is of no great consequence. I am a traveler of the Way. Having only seen a glimpse of the great and terrible storm that lingers around us, I can help anyone who wishes my help; all one need to do is ask. Every so often, the winds will change this message giving a new insight on the misfortune that lingers in days to come in our departure from the harbor we commence our voyage.
Some will not understand wisdom that hides in these words, for them I must say in time it all become clear. To understand these words one must have patients, experience, an open mind, and a willingness to learn. If you have these traits (in one form or another), and desire these words of wisdom, then ask away.
Love my friends, is a cherished treasure. Those who find in it purest form, will desirer nothing else. Those who do not will have an emptiness that the world can never fill.

We all will love something in our time, it is inevitable. However whether we chose to act upon that love is another, we can let it go by as it passes in the river of life, or we can pluck it out when it comes into reach.
Furthermore what we love is also is up to us. Whether we chose to love our mates/partners or what they can do for us, money, power, fame, or whatever else we worship is entirely up to us.
Since the dawn of time, weâ??ve all sought to understand it, we can never fully grasp the power of it, but here are some people who have tried help us better comprehend the Supremacy of our Heart.
"You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams." Dr. Seuss
"Love me when I least deserve it, because that's when I really need it." Swedish Proverb
"Most people have a harder time letting themselves love than finding someone to love them." Bill Russell
"Since love grows within you, so beauty grows. For love is the beauty of the soul." Saint Augustine
"Love comes when manipulation stops; when you think more about the other person than about his or her reactions to you. When you dare to reveal yourself fully. When you dare to be vulnerable."
Dr. Joyce Brothers

If God gives humanity purpose and meaning, what gives God purpose and meaning?
Is God meaningless and purposeless?! If so, wouldn't that mean that humans are just meaningless and purposeless, and that their "meaning" and "purpose" given by God is purely arbitrary? (link)

well very important question to ask, I do know the answer (or at lest part of it), however, it is not my place to tell you the answer, so I will tell how to reach it. If you want to know about the nature of God, you must first know God. I don’t mean like “I know believe him” or “I put my faith and trust in him”. I mean you must strive to know God personally, one a one-on-one lv.
How is this done, you may ask? Well when we talk to God, it is done with a prayer, (now depending on what you believe in at this time, will depend on how this is done). I suggest that you talk to him, don’t not try a rehearsed prayer but a meaningful one, and believe you will find an answer.
Now that you that are doing this, what’s next? Now comes the hard part. Listen to words of those who give religious talks, read Holy Scriptures, and find the truth. Once you think you have the truth, pray to know if it is true.
Buddha once said that everyone can receive enlightenment. I know it is true.
I hope this helps you, let me know if it does.

I used to pray when I was younger, and I never felt a "relationship" with anything. It felt a lot like the "relationship" I would have with an imaginary friend, actually. And I've read most of the Bible (still working on the New Testament), and I must say it was one of the things that led me to become an atheist simply because it was so vile and insulting in so many places.
And Buddha didn't believe in God. Heh.
But any way, I appreciate your feedback, but I don't really think any of that stuff works, nor is there any way to validate that it's really "God" you're getting to know through prayer and reading the Bible.
