about

Yeah, so basically, I`m pretty straight out with you, & I don't hold back. Some people think that`s a good thing, and some think it`s bad. Your choice.

advice

ok, my question is kind of stupid, but i could really use some help.
for the record, im 15/f (soon to be 16)
i honestly, dont want to be this way, and i am not at all looking for attention, but i honestly do believe i am suffering from a few mental-illnesses, depression, OCD, paranoia, and schizophrenia.
i have done a little bit of research on all of these problems, and i seem to fit it pretty well.
i want to tell my mom, so i can get help, but i am afraid she wont believe me, because she never believes me when i talk about things like this.
neither does my father, a few years ago i even said i was going to kill myself and they both responded with "yeah, ok, whatever"
and im just seeking advice in how to ask my parents, or if any of you know how to cure these problems on my own, thanks in advance. ill rate.

Okay most of these people who answered your question don't know what they`re talking about. There is no way you can treat depression without help along the way. OCD and Schizofrenia can be confused as the same thing. I used to think I was skitzo, but OCD can make you obssess over things and make it seem like their is a voice in the back of your head. It`s because your mind is obsessing over thoughts involunterily. Sometimes when you`re going to sleep and you hear something going on in your head, just say something over and over and over to try to pay attention to something else, or sing a song in your head, these may or may not work for you, but if you have OCD believe me YOU NEED TO GET HELP! because those obssessive thoughts will turn into compulsions, I used to have the same problem, i`d have things going on and on in my head, and have panic attacks, and then i started the hand washing crap, so believe me you need to get help quick.
