I went out with a boy... let's call him Jake. So Jake really really liked me. like A LOT A LOT A LOT. When he admitted to me that he liked me i guess i just went with it and told him i liked him i dunno why but i didn't really like him so much. So after about a month and a half i told him i need a little bit of time off cuz there was just to much going on and that at the time i only liked him as a friend. Well less than a week later i told him i was ready to go out with him again. He was VERY happy... well a lot of my friend's were making fun of me and one of his best friends.. lets call him Matt had a REALLY REALLY big crush on me(still does) he's really short, fat and ugly though... not that i'm shallow.. but i just don't like him. Well about a week and a half later i broke up with Jake completely. He was really really depressed and i only broke up with him because my friends were making fun of me(as a joke) but mainly because his best friend Matt was telling me that i should break up with him and we weren't meant for each other. So about a year has passed since then and i've been wit about 3-4 other boys but broke up with all of them because i still liked Jake a little. Also over time i just really didn't like them. So Jake has been with like 2 other girls also and one of them broke up with him and the he broke up with. He said that the one that broke up with him he was going to break up with anyway because she was really slutty. So Jake and I are still really good friends and neither of us like each other. Well neither of us admit to each other that we like anyone. I like Jake a lot though... I don't know if Jake still likes me because i was his first love and he was mine and they say that you never get over your first love. But i still really like him a lot. I can't admit to Jake though that i like him because I don't know if he likes me back and there are a couple of other girls who i don't know that also like him. I'm scared of being dumped. When i was first going out with him a year ago he wasn't really popular but over this year he has had many more friends. Now i guess you can say he's more popular than before, he deffinetly has more self-esteem. I don't know if i should tell him or not, and if so... how?!?! and when!?! whenever i try to bring it up he goes off topic.. although i'm really bad at hinting towards it... i really need help! any1 with good answers i'll rate a 5!! thanks!!

Go to a place that it's only you and him (romantic place if you can) and tell him that he means the world to you cause he does doesn't he?? Tell him if there are any problems, he should tell you, and you should try and fix it. The worst thing that can happen is he will say no, but knowing that you are like the only girl who cares about him sooo much.
Don't worry if hes more popular then you!! Just as long as no one sees you two in that place.. Well actually it doesn't matter.. But yeah
As for those other kids, IGNORE THEM!!!! I got made fun on when i was going out with my first love, apparently, they told 400 people that we were together. As long as we were both happy, nothing matterd because I knew that he loved me.

good advice.... i'm not so sure i have the courage to do that though, and it's not that i'm less popular just that he's more popular than before and he might think i only like him cuz he's popular now.... great advice... i'm thinking about doing that.. thank a ton!!
