I am a Christian, and I love giving advice, so you can be anonymous or not, I would just love to hear from you! My friends tell me that I am a great person to come to for advice. I seem to know just what to say. I don't know. =) I love listening to people and problems. I just don't like being in the middle of them; I do choose sides if I absolutely have to. I want to be a Social worker or a counseling Psychologist someday. I am a senior in high school, and I start college in August of '06. I'm in band, and choir. I play French horn and sing alto. I have been through a lot with friends/family and even though I haven't, I feel like I've seen it all, so I hope I can help!

16/f. I'm really into a guy at my school, and we're friends and we chat all the time, talk on the phone and online, and whatever. He likes me too, and we've considered dating. The only problem is, he's pretty overweight. Now, I wouldn't care, I don't just look for visual appeal in a person. But I'm really active, I love to play tennis and swim, and I do a lot of biking and jogging. It would be really nice if a guy that I dated would be able to do all of those things with me, and since he's not an active person, I don't know if we'd be able to. We're both really into European history, and we love to read and do those Cryptoquips in the newspaper, and I have a really good time hanging out with him. But are we compatible enough to build a relationship on? (link)

It sounds like you have a great heart. It sounds like this guy is really lucky to have found you if you don't look really at his outward appearance. I mean, you wouldn't date someone you weren't attracted to, but it sounds like this guy has a winning personality. I think you should go for it if you really like him. I mean, there's always a possibility that it may not last, but life is about risks and requires you to jump. Give him a chance is my advice. Good luck and I hope I helped.
