Q: ok im not sure if its my period or like if i am going to die or something!!!! i came back from somewhere and just saw that blood was in my undiwear. it has been for like 3 days now. but every time i go to the bathroom there is blood-A LOT, like i have to change the pad (i gues). idk if this is my period or not. if it is, its the first time thats why im asking like this. but please, im really worried something might be wrong so if you could please explain what it is supposed to look/feel right, and what i just explained sounds normal or whatever! PLEASE ASAP! sorry for the length. bye

dont worry... you're not going to die.. lol. it's definately your period. I got mine during the summer after 6th grade. periods normally last like 4 to 7 days. sometimes even longer. the amount of blood varies.. some people bleed A LOT.. i'm one of those people. if you feel some pain where your stomach(or lower) is.. it's normal. those are cramps.. and almost woman gets it while having her period. sometimes it hurts like hell.. mine always hurt really really bad, but my doctor gave me some medicine to make the pain go away.. if you ever experience really bad cramps.. just take some tylonol or midol pills. and if you see like white or brown liquid that looks and feels like thick gel on your underwear.. that's normal... it's just discharge. usually girls have a lot of discharge during the first 2 years of having their period
