hey,
ok well here's the problem --- see if you can do the math. Ok my friend Eric is the FUNNIEST guy i've ever met, he's my sunshine in total *u*king darkness... like i talk to him to help me deal with my oh-so-emo life. He's always there for me, and i'm always there for him. I'd help him with ALL kinds of his problems, but then he just got a new (and totally bad!) one.. that i cant seem to solve. His girlfriend broke up with him, and they went out for 2 years, the breakup was REALLY hard on him *he thought he was gonna marry her or something* and he really wants a girlfriend. I'm not sure if he's on the rebound, but i dont think so. He's 16 and driving this September, and yet he cant get a girlfriend. He's semi-hot, but looks dont matter *even though they sorta do but..*. He said that he knows alot of girls and has alot of friends that ARE girls, but they are all taken. He dosent see the beauty of being single--yet. But he's been really depressed and so have i, i got threatend to be killed, and i wanted him to help me cope with it through laughter, but he was just as upset. Also, he's in my band, and the band is me and him lol, and we both make lyrics, and my lyrics are serious and emo because i'm going through that stage in life when everything sucks, and he makes the fun, jump-in, dance, funny, sorta lyrics, but ever since he's been depressed, his lyrics are just like mine, and i dont want everyone to think our band is emo and gothy. Also, i want the best for him, cause he's my homeboy lol. My friends and i talked to him about dying his hair and stuff *changing his apperance* but he's a band jocky, and he's a lost cause. I'm sry to hear about all the crap that is happening to you and your friend. I think you should tell him that he can't rush love, or just fake love (like not love). Try to show him how much fun it is to be single sometimes, and before you know it, love will come to him. It may not happen right away, but tell him not to base his life on finding a girlfriend. I know breakups are hard, i've been through it, but i got over it after a while. Right now, he may be asking you to help him to find a girl to go out with, but what he really needs is for you to help him get over his ex. I really hope i helped you and your friend out. If you ever need more advice, i'm always here.
