how do you get your boyfriend to stop cutting..? please help me..=( (link)

tell him you would break up with him. that it hurts you so much to see him tear himself apart. tell him how much you love him and want to help him and be there for him, but you can't handle the cutting. my boyfriend did that to me and i no longer cut. but it is really freakn hard to stop, so whenever he feels down or something see if you can go over to his place and just hang. my friend had hers lock her in a closet once so she wouldnt. tough love works. just be careful not to be too tough?? know when to draw the line. others are right, a doctor and parents need to be informed. when my mom found out she started crying and the guilt helped me stopped.
