Don't worry. I have braces too. It doesn't really hurt that much. Not that I remember. It just tastes kinda bad...because of the glue they use. But they let you brush your teeth after they are about half way done so the taste goes away. And the pain doesnt really occur while getting them on, or they day you get them. It usually hurts for a few days after. Start out by drinking milkshakes, or eating really soft foods, like mashed potatoes (never a bad thing :P) Then gradually start to eat solid foods again so that your mouth will heal quicker. Don't worry to much, just think of how gorgeous your smile will be when its all over :)
