Well it is better to tell your friend now before it gets to serious. At first she might not want to believe it but then she will understand and be happy for you. Boys come and go but friends are forever. But there is the chances of her being upset. If that do happen then you should give her time to herself for a few days, and if your not sure when you should talk to her, it will work itself out.
