Well. Lets start with my name. My name is Whitney. I'm 13 years young. I'm pretty cool if I say so myself. I don't know if anyone on here is gonna know anything about writing music but I was wondering if anyone has any tips on writing music with guitar. I can write lyrics but not music. I've tried writing some music but it usualy ends up very badly. So any tips? (link)

This isn't the best tip, but I've been playing piano for a while and I know a little bit about chords. Start by doing a melody without chords, just notes and then when you start singing, go into major chords if its a happy song, and minor chords if its sad. Sorry if that wasn't the greatest tip...i tried :-/!
