I have a rat. And i was wondering from anyone who knows anything about them. What can be done or given to a rat to keep it amused. I open the cage everyday and let him run up my bookcase(where his cage is situated) but I don't know if this is efficient enough? Anything would be appreciated.

You can go to a pet store, they will have stuff for your rat like little weels taht they can run on in their cage and they have little balls that they can run around in .. Hope i helped you !!
