So, I was reading your advice, and I was hoping you could help me a little..
You see, tomorrow I'm going to see my boyfriend. I haven't seen him in several weeks because I've been out of town. I got my hair cut today and it's will be the first time he's seen it down tomorrow. I'm extremely self conscious, and I'm very nervous. This is a convention of sorts that I'll see him at, but I'm very nervous. I don't know how I should act, dress, etc. Should I be the one to initiate? Or should he? I'm hoping you could help calm my nerves... thanks! (link)

I think your biggest problem isnt your self consience, i think your just overly nervous to see what your boyfriend thinks of your haircut after several weeks of being apart, theres no shame in that! trust me, ive had my head shaved into a mowhawk for no reason at all. all you have to do is show your boyfriend that your the same you that you were several weeks ago, and i think if he is a good boyfriend, he would tell you your hair looks beautiful before you even could count to ten, even if it did look bad, which i doubt is the case. all you have to do is be yourself, and what helps me do that best ESPECIALLY with my loved one, is just act like hes your best friend, not your boyfriend, and that usually initiates conversation and brings out the normality in you.
Im sure you will be just fine, all thats wrong with you is a severe case of the first sight jitters, dont werry, it happens to all of us!
hope i helped! feel free to drop one in my inbox if need be!
good luck
DREW
