I have had daily headaches for the past 5 years.Must have had every test going!But the CT scan or MRI doesn't show anything.There seems to be no rhyme or reason. Could be weather(especially humidity) ,eating to much or certain foods, tension ,stress.My shoulder muscles are hard and neck very stiff every day.Medicines such as anti-inflamatory's ,muscle relaxers or migrane pills (such as Imitrex) all work the opposite on me making things worse.I take Oxycocet only for the pain and sometime's that doesn't even help.Also,it is like I have too much fluid in my head.My ears have fluid in them quite often,nose runs when I eat anything and boy if I was to cry, my head would pound severly. Ok hun. I went to the hospital because i had a migrane. this is what happened: THe right side of my body was numb and i couldnt talk. Like i knew what i wanted to say but i couldnt get it out because the right side of my face was numb. I've been havein headaches for a long time before this happened and then they evolved into migranes. When i was in the hostpital they put me thru alotta tests. a ct and a mri the same ones you went thru and everything was fine and then they ruled out everything else and they said it was a Complex Migrane. I was in the hospital i think on june 14th to the 16th. Of this year '05. it was scarey but im glad they found out what happened. I take Inderal- im not sure how to spell it put it sounds exactly like its spelled. Its highblood pressure pills because a migrane is when not enough blood gets to the brain and the blood pressure pills make sure that enough blood gets to muh brain(i kno it sounds silly but its true) and when this happened Muh right Side was numb and then an hour later i got a serouisly bad headache. Processed meats such as Lunch Meats and hotdogs can cause migranes. Chocolate can, Caffiene can, and certian kind of cheeses can. Also stress and pressure can cause them too! And if you ever go to the hospital for migranes and they say you have one.. dont worrie you can still play sports ans stuff and do everything else in your everyday life! I Hope i helped!! and ya kno what? it wasnt a "mini Stroke" they RULED OUT EVERYTHING ELSE< derr already said that...

Geez, it sounds like you had a mini stroke Amanda.
I did get some blood pressure pills from my doctor and I thought they were helping at first but then I went right back to the same old thing so I went off them. Yes,I can't eat an oreo cookie or else.Same with the Toblerone chocolate bar. However,I can eat other chocolate and get away with it. I can't seem to do anything for more than a couple hours and I'm in bed on my ice pack.Strange ,but true.
