Q: Hey guys. Well.. tonight I went to a club for the first time, and met this really great guy. He asked to dance with me, and we did for a while, and attempted to talk a bit (but the music was so loud, so we went and sat down) He introduced me to some of his friends too. Anyway, I had to leave early.. and out of nowhere I asked for his number. This is TOTALLY out of character for me. I'm usually shy around guys, but hey. He gave it to me and then I gave him mine, and then he walked me to the door. I may be being paranoid, but was this coming across a little too eager or forward? I had a feeling he wanted to ask, but I could be wrong. Also, should I contact him first or let him contact me? I'm just totally new to this kinda thing and lost.

No not at all... If it's off characater for you then you musyt have something for this guy. Because you wouldnt break the mould unless it was somtheing reallllly good!!! And to answer your question no u weren't being too forward or eager... how could you be? Ask yourself that, i mean if you really like the guy and stuff then you won't know him if you can't contact him. Annd if it where to eager then he'd not have given you it. So forget about it, you made the right choice. I recon you should contact him. It isn't traditional fot the woman to ask but come on this is the 21st century! You don't want to let this guy slip through the net if you broke who you where to ask him his number. Callhim and ask him on a date to somewhere quite. Not a club; get to know him better. So go where you can sit and talk. Then take it from there. But dont worry bout it. You weren't too forward at all... Go on give him a call.
