Hey everyone,
my name is Devan, I'm 19 years old and a sophmore at Arizona State University. Go Devils!! I moved here from Kingston Springs, TN (20 min. out of Nashville). If any of my friends have a problem of any sort whether girl/guy problems, school issues, social issues or anything of the sort, I'm always the one that they come to. I think the reason that my friends feel comfortable coming to me is because they know that whatever is discussed between the two of us stays between the two of us. I do that for my friends and all though I don't know any of you I will do the same for you as well. This is a question that every girl your age asks herself at some point. Your not alone I promise, this is completely normal! Excuse me for using certain terms but for you to understand I feel I must. About 6 months to 1 year before a girl starts her period she will get what's called a white discharge. This is caused by changing levels of hormones in a girl's body and increase secretions in the vagina. All it does is help to keep that area healthy. Just be prepared that it is a definite sign of getting close to starting your period. Hope that helps!
