I recently just found out that I have scoliosis. I have to get a brace and was fitted today for it. I'm going to have to wear it a minimum of 16 hours a day. I was wondering if there is any one who can tell me what it was like having a back brace and give me advice on when to wear it, what to do in the summer, and things like that. Thank you very much. my friend has scolious and she does not wear aback brace and shes fine. shes a chearleader. to avoid wearing a brace just do alot of excerise

You can't avoid wearing the back brace! If your doctor told you to get it, there's a pretty good reason that you need it.
