Okay, here's the deal: for my socials project, our teacher asked us to pick a section in the book and do a presentation on it. I picked a section that describes how war started in Vietnam, and how the soldiers got enlisted and about the suffering, and the nurses i.e. He does not, though, want us to take the easy way out and use a board with pictures on it to seal the project. We may use visuals, and get this - we have to be a character in that time period. So I have to be someone in the 60s. I have a few ideas - to be a nurse recalling the event with pictures [maybe powerpoint], or a reporter making a documentary about it. Does anyone have any ideas? Anything would help, and its good if you speak from experience too.

I appreciate it! =) thanks.

why not be the average american of the sixties? watching the news as it happens, seeing you sister go off to be a nurse, and your brother off to fight, it could be interesting, you could get really into it too and really dress up and do your hair like a little kid, use a high pitched voice and everything

(Rating: 3) Thank you for your advice regarding the american history project. While its hard for me to be a little kid and include grand details, cause kids dont know that much, I appreciate the whole thought of being someone worrying about family that are overseas. Thank you.
