ok, heres my problem. im in 7th grade (13 years old). ive gone out with the same guy three times in the past two years, and everyone thinks thats really weird. ive had other boyfriends, of course, but he was always the best. no matter how hard we try, everytime either of us gets a crush on someone else, it only lasts for a couple of weeks, then we realize how much we love each other. i think theyre really might be something between us, but i would feel SO embarrased to get back together with him because everyone at my school would think it odd for it to be the 4th time to go out with him in 2 years!!! but then again, i dont want to loose what i have... hes a REALLY awesome guy! hes a good football player, and hes really hot, but also he has another artsy side to him. he can find beauty in almost anything and aif your in a bad mood, he makes you feel like youre the most amazing person on the planet. so what should i do? i rate good responses. Honestly, I think that if you feel that strongly for him, then you shouldn't question your actions. Follow your heart!
I'm curious, though, if you really think it's a big deal about your friends thinking you weird.. I know how easy it is to say "Just go do it!" but much harder to actually do it, since a lot of things are involved. If your friends' opinion of you change because of the action you took, then you can question if they really are your friends. I think they should respect you and your choices...
I mean, half of the school probably don't know you and you don't know them, so it won't really be that big a deal if they think poorly of you, since you don't even talk. Their opinions shouldn't matter much to you at all...
If you also have a lot of strong feelings, maybe you and him should pursue a more long-time relationship, as opposed to the on-again, off-again relationship you currently have..
