I think I might have diabetes because:
1. I feel tired and sleepy a lot of times
2. I'm always hungry (but I've always had a big appetite) and lately I've been eating a LOT
but I'm not overweight
3. and thirsty
4.my maids told me that there are ants in my panty!
I'm only 20 yrs old...anyway can anyone share info about what procedure is done to test if I have diabetes? where do I go to?
I have phobia with injections getting blood from me, will I have to do this? some sort of glucose tolerance test? how much blood will they get from you for the test?
ok my little sister has diabetes ... symptoms she had when first diagnosed were similar to yours... Did you go to a doctor??? and when you do go to the doctor they will take blood out of you to check to see your blood glucose level. When you take the test, you can take one in your doctors office if they have it if not then you might have to go somewhere else but they dont take much blood at all. its like the tinest amount of blood. Please go to the doctor asap !! I hope everything is going to be alright with you. Please get back to me if you are able to, i will be able 2 help you out with information if you need.
P.S What BeautifulxDisaster said is wrong, Diabetes is NOT very genetic...

thank you...I knew it is easy to type my symptoms and search in the net what is it, but I'm just scared and don't want to think about it..and I just wanted a lot of opinions before telling my mom because she might think I'm over-reacting or such a hypochondriac. this week is a busy week, so maybe next week i will go to a doctor. again thank you =)
