Ok so I'm 15/m, and I was at a school function, and some girl that I didn't know danced with me. So after I left she got my AIM screen name from one of my friends and went home and asked me to the prom and and asked if I would go over to her house Friday to have dinner and a movie and all that stuff. Problem is, I really don't like her, and I don't really know her at all either. What should I say? (link)

you can cancel the stuff on friday and just tell her "Something suddenly came up". if she asks what, then make up some stuff, like "My grandma is ill and we need to be at the house in case of an emergency" or you could just tell the truth. just sit her down and say "Listen, i know that you like me and i respect that a lot. but the thing is, i don't really Like you-like you. i just like you. i hope we can still be friends"
