Alright, 4 months ago my boyfriend dumped me because he had some issues of his own to work out. In those 4 months I developed a crush on his younger brother, who is my age (15). My ex is 17. I asked his brother out and he said no cuz he can't date until he's 16, which is in a year. I know that the brother has feelings for me (his sister told me). Now, my ex-boyfriend has feelings for me, but I like his brother more than him right now. And one of my friends has a crush on him. What do I do? I have some feelings for my ex, but they aren't as strong as the ones for his brother.

First of all I am 37 years old and have had my heart crushed in the last couple of dreams of a 3 year relationship that was supposed to end in marriage this summer, so I think the advice you get from one mother to a young lady who isn't your mother and works primarily with troubled boys wil be good, but hard to take.

15 is young to date and dating young will eventually cause you heartache. Take things slow with whoever you date.

Dating someone who was 17 is too old for you. It really is. Boys that old want different things than you do and lets just face it, the majority of girls want to get into a relationship that will last, that "knight in shining armor" "Prince Charming", you know, the kind that they make up on tv, but remember that is tv.

Dating brothers is a big no no, what will his parents say? How involved in the relationship with the 17 year old were you. If your relationship got to be more than just dating and became sexual in nature (don't get me wrong, I am not scolding, just want you to be safe} but if it did, and you now are after younger brother, boys talk, especially brothers, and I have 2 of them when I was 15 one was 14 the other 16 and they talk.

Obviously you are in high school (I hope). Let me give you some old fashioned advice. You can be the captain of the cheerleading squad, the star center of the BB team, the honor roll student, or just an ordinary plain jane. In the end, come graduation day, all go their separate ways. All you really have once school lets out is your name. If you are still a virgin, be proud. Like I said, in the end all you have is your name. In planning my 20th class reunion I know those that dating everyone on the football team, and they don't show, or they do and end up drunk and doing the exact thing they did in high school, at the end of the night they will go home and make the same mistake, and some day with STD's that will catch up with them.

Leave the brothers alone. Leave them both alone. If he had issues of his own to work out, those issues are still their, and they will follow with his brother. Do you want the whole school to think of you ast the one that "screws" the brothers? I am not saying that you have, but that is the exact reputation you will get. And in the end, all you have is our name. Take pride in yourself and who you are. Don't be hasty to find someone so quickly after one has left. YOu have friends have fun with them. Why should you do the chasing anyway? Isn't it much more fun knowing that someone is chasing you?

Look elsewhere honey, keep your name one that your classmates will remember 20 years from now as the girl that was a good person, with good morals and values. I did and don't regret it. I also get respect from my classmates 20 years later and it isn't because I rushed to the bed.

If you go after little brother and most likely his parents will think you are wierd and a tramp. Now you have lost your good name. Your friends will think the same. I can't possibly believe that with all the fish in the sea that the only 2 people out there are 2 brothers. Isn't there more?

Go fishing!

(Rating: 3) I'm sorry miss, but I'm a virgin. I don't plan on having sex til I'm 20. I'm dating right now so I can find what qualities I want in a future spouse. You brought up so much stuff about sex I could get right down to the advice. My ex-b/f is also still a virgin and is very shy. In fact, I ran the relationship most of the time, cuz he wanted me to be comfortable. He may be 17, but he has values and morals. Not everyone is a sex-starved maniac.
