Ok there is this guy that I am friends with, and I found out that he likes me. Good right? No you see I am friends with his ex and she says she still loves him. he never talks to her or anything. he says that she couldn't handle just being friends and that he only treats her like that because she acts like that. I don't want him to treat me like that if we were to go out and break up, he says that he wouldn't,but I don't know if I believe him. And there is one more thing I have a boyfriend. we don't go to the same school and I was thinking about dumping him anyway,but I just dont know what to do. So should I dump my boyfriend for my friend?

He likes you.. but do you like him?
I dont think that it would be a good idea to go out with your friend just yet, if you are friends with his ex..and if she isnt quite over him. If you really want to go out with him then you should wait a little while to let her feelings change, let her move on; you know?
You shouldnt give up on your boyfriend too easily also if you still really like him. If you dont have feelings for him, because like you said you were going to break up with him anyway, then i mean.. dont lead him on.
Sometimes long distance relationships are good, you dont get to see him all the time but when you do.. it makes it ten times better. Theres also disatvantages of long distance relationships, like the situation you have now. Imagine yourself in your boyfriends shoes, what if some girl liked him? and he was going to dump you for her?
(Even if you dont live that far away, schools are some distance--through the weeks)
