Hi there! I've got my own column on here (EMiLYELiZABETH) but today I'm needing some advice.

I'm 2O/f and tomorrow I've got a huge job interview with the police department. My question is... what should I wear and how should I do my hair?? It's brown with reddish highlights, half way down my back (about to the bottom of my bra). I like it either up or down, so that isn't an issue.

As far as what to wear, I was wondering about pinstripe pants or a skirt? Also, what kind of shirt? I've got a few nice sweaters or some that I can layer with.

Any help would be GREATLY appricated!! Thanks so much!

You want to look classy and mature, but don't overdo it.

What I suggest is a long sleeved, short dress shirt with pinstripe pants and black heels, if you have any.

Put your hair in a ponytail so it looks neater and you give off the impression of someone who is organized and reliable.

Keep the colours you wear minimal. Gray, beige, cream, and black are colours that go well in interviews.
