It's become a trend in my area for some very ignorant people to steal campain signs from public and private yards. Basically, all of the Kerry/Edwards signs have come up missing only to be found dumped with big W's spray painted on them. I am disgusted by this, as I'm sure any self respecting Bush supporter would be too. I am for Kerry, but I would never think of imposing on anyone's right to speak out for the candidate that they believe in.
It's gotten quite bad. I took a two minute walk down the road and saw three or four Kerry/Edwards signs. Four hours later they were all missing.
I want to express my views with a few signs in my yard, but I do not want them to be vandalized. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I could go about doing this? (link)

put them in your window, that way there's no way that the vandels can get to them.
Since you said the vandels are quick, stick one in your yard, and as soon as you see them coming turn on the sprinklers and run out of your house throwing something at them. No joke! They won't come back.
I'm sorry that people are terrorizing your communitee like that. That's really not constitutional.

The windows is a good idea, but I have never seen the vandals. I'm sure if anyone has seen them, then they would be in huge trouble by now. It's quite illegal to do what they have been doing.
