ok.. my parents are getting divorced and i'm moving into a house in town. i've lived in the house i'm in for 10 years... is it normal for me to be feeling like this isn't real?? i feel like it's just a bad dream.. even though i know it's gonna happen

yeah it is normal bc what happening is reality and you dont want it to be ... you want everything to be the way it was before but it wont ever be like that again. divorce sucks adn it sucks that they are doing that to you but youll just have to deal ... my parents are divorced .. theyve been divorced since i was 3 so i really dont know anything else and im sure its really hard on you and it will suck but it will be ok in the end. i hope i helped! -kayla
ps. just ask your friends for support while this is going on and tell them how you feel about it .. i promise they will be there for you all the way and whenever you need it ... after all thats what friends are for right?
