Q: This sunday its been my one month aniversary with my vegetarianism. Though that kind of makes me sad because for 2 weeks my friends havn't talked to me. They say i've changed a llot, i dyed my hair from blonde to black, wear all black, and am really into rock (though i always have been) and, they ssay they wont talk to me because im a vegetarian! I started skipping lunch, A. because i just cant bring myself to eat. B. because no one to sit with. So i just wait outside (im 13 and in 7th grade)till the bell rings. And home, i lock myself in my room and say like 10 words...max. I just dont want to talk. *sigh* am i slipping into depression. I mean, why should i quit..i do have reason. Factory farms treat there animals HORRIBLE and my 'friends' dont beleive that! I brought my proof, (a book) and they refused to read it. I told them to go to www.meetyourmeat.com and they wouldnt! *sigh* im just so confused, sorry this is long.

man, i was the same way about not saying anything, and staying in my room. i wasnt vegetarian or anything. that will eventually pass, dont worry
and if your friends hate you because you dont eat meat, thats pretty fucking pathetic and you should find new friends...seriously. you shouldnt do something you dont believe in for your friends...thats insane.
