My mother and I went to Sam's Club where you can buy everything in bulk, including a one gallon jug of syrup. When we got home the syrup jug had cracked open and spilled all over the inside of my trunk. We tried our best to scoop up what we could, but it is just soaked into the carpet, and is really sticky. My car smells like a pancake house! What can I do to clean up this mess?
Try scrubing it with with seltser water it gets out stains and also works really well.... when i was little i spilled fruit punch in my car and we tried it and it worked!

I am not worried about a stain. It's the sticky mess and smell. Seltser won't do a thing!
