I go out with this guy and I REALLy like him, I mean REALLY. I want to do things with him like kiss etc but all our friends follow us around and tease us and we never get to spend time alone. Like, someone will say: Izzi kiss Jon and I just can't do it with everyone there. It makes me really embarassed and I get scared that Jon will think that I don't want to when I DO. I tried to tell my friends to leave me alone and they kinda do, but everyone else doesn't. (link)

Okay, so yes, we're all guilty of thinking other people's lives are soap operas sometimes, and it really is just because we have dull lives. So just tell them to stick it. Make it very clear how you feel, and hopefully you'll shock them back into reality. Or you could try following them everywhere and watching their every move for a day - they'll soon realise how annoying it is ;)
