Hi I'm Ali. I'm 15 and I'm in 10th grade. *Yay!* I'm origionally from New York but I moved up to Maine. I have a sister who is 13 and a 3 year old brother. At the moment my 17 year old cousin is living with us. He just moved in around april. Long story. I tend to be shy at first but I eventually warm up. I'm always the one my friends turn to for advice or just for someone to talk to. My dad is a phsychiatrist so I wonder if it's in my genes. *lol* I can be very fun, but also serious when I need to be. I tend to make good grades but I have to work for them. So thats me! Not too interesting. Oh well.

I like this guy, he likes me back. He says he doesn't want to ask me out because asking people is out dumb because no one actually goes out or they stop talking. I'm not goin got ask him out because if he can't ask me out then he is going to be a bad boyfriend. He's had girlfriends before so it's not like he's not ready. WE are both in 7th grade. Any ideas on how ot approach him and talk about it?

First off, definatly talk to him. If you guys like each other you should try and make some thing work. You say know actually goes out, why don't you invite him to go somewhere with you. Somewhere simple and easy for the first date, like the movies. If the first date donesn't work out and he doesn't seem like he cares that your even trying to make it work, tell him that he needs to start caring. If he doesn't care, he's probably not going to be a great boyfriend. Good luck!
