My friend, lets call her Sarah, is completely obsessed with her ex boyfriend. Ive been trying to tell her forever to try and get over him! Hes been such a jerk to her, and he broke up with her to immpress one of his friends. How low is that? How can i get it through her head that she can do better, and stop wasting her time dwelling on the past?

talking to her might work if u constantly remind her that the reason why their relationship ended was becoz he was "using" her and playing with her heart. but this obsession will slowly die when she notices that he no longer shows interest in her. often people dwell on the past because they are afraid of what might happen to them in the future.. reassure her and support her, give her loads of care and hugs and tell her its time to move on. of course try not to sound too irritating, she might not like it.. -Rei
