Well, if you don't love him then ur hurting him already by leading him on...you need to sit down and really talk to him one on one...explain to him that u really love your friendship..but you two need to cool off...if hes a true friend then he'll understand and you'll continue your great friendship...you can do that OR if you do love him you could learn to look past his imperfections such as his immature attitude
