my friends parents didnt save up money for her to go to college and they tell her that she cant live away from home and has to go to community college or the one nearby even tho she wants to go away - shes smart tho, like she gets good grades and stuff just not high enuf to get a large scholarship and i feel bad bcuz she doesnt have much options and i do ~ is there any way to help?

well, in ireland every subject you get an A in you can take for free. Is that far away enough.
Wow, this ones hard. You could help her raise some money. Wow those are some crappy parents.

She should stand up, and so should you. You both should sit her parents down and give her a long talk. She's old enough to move out and thats what she wants to do, her parents are no longer in control of her life. She's 18 she's old enough to make her own decisions and choose her own future. Not her parents. Her parents cant do that. And if a talk like that doesn't work start a petition and get donations with the signatures. She's not a little girl anymore
