i'm going to be a freshman, and just got my braces off, and my teeth are kinda yellow. i heard that some of the teeth-whitening products don't really work & are too expensive. what should i do?! i can't go to highschool looking like this! please help! (link)

this hits close to home! i get my braces off in about two months and i have ben brushin my teeth like 7 times a day bcus im so worried about that! lol ok first buy whitening toothpaste. (with baking soda in it or other products..it will say on the bottle) Actually i kno a lot of ppl who tried the whitening products and they worked really well for them. Also, try avoiding food that stains your teeth, coffee, tea, etc. About the expensive part, look around in the newspaper or catalogs and look for coupons for drugstores. You can get really good deals. Also, if all else fails, u could always get ur teeth bleached professionally. Its probly expensive, but if u saved up it would b worth it! Happy Brushing! lol
