hello! i'm a 15 year old girl and i cut myself, not all the time, but just whenever. i don't even have to be really depressed to do it, just in the mood for it. i've been cutting since i was 14, and a bunch of my friends think it's gross. my problem is this: i can't find a reason to stop. it helps me with my problems, and i'm not trying to commit suicide (no wrists). the way i see it, i would rather cut than do drugs, drink or smoke, and cutting makes me happier. otherwise, i'm a good B-average student and athletcially involved. i write a lot. so why is cutting so bad? it's my personally choice, and it helps me. i just can't see the cons... I don't know if you belive in Jesus Christ our Savior, You need some special guidenance and attention on you're daily activicties, you must realise that cutting you're self is not in any way solve you're problem's, You must change the way's you are living you're life, you are lacking something and you must analise as best as you can to see what could you do in order to add something that would make you're life more fullfiled, you can accept Jesus Christ as you're savior and let him come into you're life and bring new and safe activities, ask him for guidness and streanth for you to find love in you're life, annoitment of the body comes from the faith and beive in the thing's of the Creator which will appear on you're life when you accept Jesus Christ as you're Savior, All of this is free and you have to pay nothing, only you're loyalty and honesty into salvation, you're shall start a new and better life, May the Savior be with you alway's.
