my friend cuts herself just for the heck of it. she doesnt know why either. i know it sounds crazy but she does it anyways. i've tried to talk to her about it and she promise she'd stop but i see cut marks on her all the time recently and much more than usual. what should i do? should i tell somebody....please help!

I have a friend exactly like that! Maybe your friend does it for attention, or maybe she is missing something, and cutting makes her feel as if it is there, same thing with attention! Cutting is a very serious thing, and its very hard to stop by yourself, I would tell a school counselor..but thats probably hard now because its summer (lol) I'd let her parents know, or if you feel uncomfortable telling them, go ahead and yell yours, and maybe they can get ehr some help, or tell your friends parents. Don't be scared of your friend being mad for telling anyone or anything, in the end she should be happy, for helping her!!
