I thank you for your answer and I shall follow both yours and Angelique's advice.
To address your question:
Time spent actively thinking: 2 weeks
Time spent writing: 5 minutes
Time spent typing: 1 hour 30 minutes (including pauses to think)
To address your final sentence: as far as 'dramatics' go, this is not my intention. My question is a single outpouring of my thoughts that I have modified, ever-so-slightly, to fit the "I am asking for help" model whilst I am in a muddle. My writing style is essentially my alleged 'unique' dialect, but is actually just the product of the time I spend in isolation reading and thinking.
