Best answer Ive had so far. Its good to finally meet a Christian who knows about and is willing to think about misinterpretation of scripture.
The biggest thing I have with all that is Adultery and fornication. Fornication was translated from the word "porneia" apparently, and the actual translation of that into english is iffy.
Adultery on the other hand has always seemed to me to be about unfaithfulness.
I dont know, I have friends who are very sexually aware, but not active. They think everything from their thoughts about sex to the fact that they might masturbate is a sin. Im going to use what you've given me here and some research Ive done to try to get them in a better frame of mind.
