I'm seeing a school counsellor. She says we'll see in succeeding meetings if I need a psychiatrist or a diagnostic test for ADHD. I finally got the courage to tell my father and he COMPLETELY brush me off. Saying I just need discipline, that I should study hard to graduate early! It was unbelievable! I've been experiencing these for years and no one believes me now that I'm actually trying to fix it. Well, I'm not giving up. You shouldn't either! It's not fair we suffer through years undiagnosed and unhappy because other people think we're not trying. Good luck to us both. I hope we show them that ADHD is very much real and we need their support!
