You really should google, or do a bit of researching when answering a question like this. Some your ideas of Canada are a bit misunderstood to say the least. Free Speech in provided for by the Bill of Rights in Canada. But to address your first point, both Canada and the US deny people on basis of political activity or associations all the time.
