Ok, i was installing a game and when i clicked to go to Internet (internet explorer), My homepage was changed to this site www.Altavista.com and i had tons of stuff on my favorites i never wanted. The goodnews is that i deleted those favorites and changed back to my normal homepage BUT!!! Ok i don't know what its called but the little symbol at the top right of the screen when on the internet (sometimes its a world spinning or a flage waveing to show that the internet is working) this was changed! how do i get it back to a flag???? ill rate 5s!

i know what your talking about but a game shouldnt effect how your internet works exept maybe change the homepage and add a few cookies or what ever to your registry. I personaly use firefox which is way faster and ezer to use.
but when i open internet exporer i do not get the flag of whcih your talking about, ill try to play around with the settings and perhaps find it and get back to you.
all i gota tell you now is that its no big deal that the icon isnt showing up
