Q: I'm 13 years old, and I've been feeling really alone lately (I'm in 8th grade and it seems all my friends have great relationships). I was wondering; I know I'm young and all, but are there any like online dating services that I could try for people my age (I live in Tampa, FL)

i know how it feels when all your friends have boyfriends except you. my problem was i was just looking too hard. to find a boyfriend just don't really think about it, flirt around a little, and eventually the boyfriend will come to you. however, i dont neccesarily recommend online dating services because if you don't plan on meeting the person, its not really a relationship because you never know who they really are or what they're really doing, and if you do plan on meeting the person it could be very dangerous.

okay, at the dance look really cute, and you and your friends kind of dance in a location around him. then if he's noticing your, or when you get up the nerve, just ask him to dance or strike up a conversation with him. if you all have a mutual friend, you maybe could get your friend to go talk and then you come to "talk to your friend" while they are chatting.

Q: my friend just told me last night she asked the guy im really good friends with and love to death if he wanted 2 go out with me and she said he said no sorry but when my best friends asked him today he said he didnt even talk to her last night today also alot of other people asked him out for me and they said he said he didnt want to because he wanted to stay single but right now i think everyone is lieing to me and I dont know the truth. I think my best friends will ask him tomorrow and maybe I can rely on them but Im afraid if he says no I'm going to be a wreck on Valentines Day and I love him so much if he breaks my heart ill be up all night crying and even though were like best friends right now I dont know if he will even care...

Maybe you should talk to this guy yourself. I know you're probably really nervous too, but once you do you will feel a lot better because you will know the truth. Also, don't let not having someone on Valentine's Day ruin it for you, you have plenty of friends that will surround you with love, and you can always drown your sorrows in a nice box of chocolates!

Q: Okay, tomorrow we are having a Valentine's dance. There is this guy I really like, and he is going. Both of us are single, and he talks to me regularly. But tomorrow at the dance, I want to look good. I have no clue what to wear, or how to do my makeup. Im not real big on skirts, and I want to be comfortable.
Also, I have kind of pale skin, and REALLY light brown hair w/ highlights. Any ideas? Thank you!
And do any of you have any tips on dancing?

I have light brown hair and pale skin, too. I am so sure that a pink shirt would look really cute on you. Also, for the bottoms, a skirt is not needed to look cute, just wear a cute pair of jeans (if you have a cute faded pair that would look really good!) And for the make up, if you're into wearing foundation, put some on lightly, and with or without foundation, wear a little powder, a little blush, and some pink eye shadow. and you're all set! For the dancing, just hang around with your (girl) friends at first, and soon you will be dancing just like them, and who knows, you all could have made up your own dances by the end of the night!
