A 3.95 weighted GPA is not terrible, but you could never get into nyu with that. Maybe a 3.95 UNweighted, but not weighted. I'm sorry, but you would definately need higher grades to get into a school as competitice as NYU! I wouldn't bother applying because they wont accept you. If you plan on going to a good school like that then you have to work hard in highschool and keep your unweighted GPA up. People who get into those schools have like 4.7 weighted GPAs!

About 4 days ago i had a 103.7 temp. I was very sick. I am now over my cold but for the past 2 nights i have been drinking 3 or 4 full water bottles a night. I dont know if this is because my body is still repairing and needs energy or because of something else. Someone please help me because its really annoying.

I'm sure it's just because you didn't drink a lot of water when you were sick. Sometimes when I dont drink water much one day, the next night all I want to do is drink. It's because the body is dehydrated or getting there, so I'm sure it'll pass as soon as your body has enough water to feel hydrated again. Don't worry, it's nothing serious.

all right, so after he found out I liked him, it turned out he liked me too. but he doesn't TALK to me. and he hasn't looked at me all day. maybe it's cos he's shy, but isn't that pathetic? a little glance in the hallway isn't too scary, is it? augh.
whenever I smile at him, he looks the other way. but the other day, I glanced at him to see he was looking at me, and that was it.

I'm sure hes just shy. I mean, I'm like that with guys I like. For example, if I see them in the hall I just look away, so that is probably your explaination, but I could be wrong seeing as I have a social anxiety disorder, so I cant really help being that shy. I do suspect though that he is shy because if he was using you then he wouldnt care about what you thought and would have no problem talking to you or atleast looking at you. I'm sure hes just shy. Try talking to him or starting up a conversatoin, but dont bring up him looking away in the hallway because that would be really embarrising for him.,

hey im a guy and my hair goes down to my eyes and on the bak it goes down a little. do u no any shampoos or conditioners i can use to make it straighter. i have straight hair but it kinda curls in the bak and there are some waves on da front. i dont want to use a straightener btw. thanks!!! (link)

Dont get the wet 2 straight. Its an awful straightener. I thought it was good when I had it, but then I got this new one for christmas and it became apparent how terrible the wet 2 straight really was. It gets your hair straight, but it doesn't stay straight and it doesn't get as hot as other straighteners.
btw: dont rate this. i just wanted to stop you from waisting ur money on that straightener.
and wavy hair on guys is HOT, so im sure your hair is fine the way it is.
It's called the corioliss pro. its similar to the chi and its in the same price range. (over 100 dollars). I got it at a stand in the mall, so you might not be able to find it. Go with the chi if you cant because it's definately worth the money. I've seen it get poeple with really frizzy hair, perfectly straight. imagine what it can do to wavy hair. haha. Good luck.

Last night, I was with this guy and he started to finger me. My period wasn't supposed to come for two more days; but I think it started while he was fingering me. I dont think it was your period. It was most likely your hymen breaking which often times results in bleeding and even if it was your period that small amount of blood is not very noticable. Any guy that say blood wouldn't say anything either because he would know what it was and even if he didn't that would be very awkward for not only you but him as well, so don't worry hes not going to bring it up and you dont need to either. Relax, both of those scenarios are natural. it happens to all girls.

I'm in the 10th grade - My chemistry teacher is a flipping moron. He doesn't explain anything, he SAYS he's not going to explain anything, and all he ever talks about it getting a raise. And while this is going on, I have a f****** 1.5 average in his class because I can't understand CRAP. I have tried to read the book by myself, but I don't understand it. I need clarification from a teacher, you know? So now I'm stuck. I have straight A's in ALL of my classes except this one. And I don't know what to do. We have counselors at my school. But I'm not too sure if parents are allowed to talk about grades or anything. Any suggestions on this situation? :( I don't know what to do. (link)

Are other kids in your class doing this poorly? because if not then it's most likely not the teacher and you should take responsibility for your own grades. You could always call a friend and ask for help, but cursing your teacher out on here and calling him a retard is not going to help. If you arent willing to go in at lunch or before school and ask for help from him or a student then it's your own fault. I hate when people blame their bad grades on teachers because there are othre ways to get help if you make an effort. Maybe chemistry just isnt your thing because im in 9th grade and im in chemistry and i find it extremely easy and its not becuase i have a good teacher.

Those are definately way too revealing especially for an 8th grader. When I look at those costumes I dont think cute. I think slutty especially if the person is not in the uppergrades of highschool or in college. Frankly, you just aren't old enough to wear them and i agree with the person below me. I doubt you can fill them out. You're only 13 you dont need to look sexy, you need to look cute. I'd try some other costumes or you're probably going to get sent home for wearing those to school especially.

I think what you're asking is what size a 1 or a 2 kids is in womans right? not what size a 13 yrear old should be. but anyways. If you wear a size 1 or 2 kids you are not going to be able to fit into womens. Once you get into the 5 1/2 range you become a womens shoe size. So you just have to wait until your feet grow, which they will.

i am taking weightlifting in school and i work hard and im doing everything right and i am seeing results and such. but also like the cardio stuff we do every other day if i do that plus all the ab stuff..will i get abs? cause i do about 200 a night, plus what we do at school..plus cardio. (link)

possibly, but it mostly depends on how much you eat because i do absolutely no excercise, but i have a flat stomach and a six pack. Honestly, crunches dont really work. My friend's tried them for a long time and saw no results. I'd just go on a diet and you'd probably see more results then if you were to do 200 crunches a night.

Ok before I lost 40 pounds eating healthy choice and smart ones meals. Well I have gained it all back and I wanna lose weight again but dont feel the meal plan will work for me. I really love food and I don't know what to do does anyone have any ideas? I need to lose about 50-60 pounds. (link)

You are definately like me. I love food too, but you don't have to cut out any of the foods you love at all. A lot of people will tell you that you have to cut our junk food, but that's not true. All you have to do is watch your calorie intake. You can still eat the foods you love just a smaller proportion of it. For example: instead of getting a cheese pizza with thick crust get a thin adn crispy pizza. It's that many less calories. Also, try and substitute white breads for whole grain because even though it is a little higher in calories. It will fill you up, so you wont eat as much. Buy whole grain pasta and mac and cheese. You dont taste a difference at all. As for deserts, by perfectly proportioned bags of cookies or buy those cups of icecream for one serving. Just be sure to calculate your calories and try not to go over 1500 a day maybe more or less depending on your height and let me fill you in on a little secret, you dont have to excercize to lose weight. I lost over 30 lbs doing absolutely no excercise and I have abs and everything. You can just eat more if you excercise, but Im one of those people who would rather eat less and not excercise. hahah

You are SO lucky! I would KILL to be tall, but anyway, no one is going to make fun of you for being tall because every girl wants to be tall. It's what is depicted in magazines as being beautiful and believe it or not most guys LOVE tall girls and if the boots are cute then it doesn't matter how tall they make you because everyone will be focused on how cute you look in them to notice anyway. Just be glad your tall and not short. thats all im saying :) haha
