Okay well I know that people hate these type of questions. I'm sorry. But I need help. What are some songs that:
1. Say something about growing up.
2. Show someone that I am there for them.
3. Something about liking someone, but they not liking you [i know almost everything song is like that, but i want a song that is slow and easy to listen to with a gool beat to it]
4. Show that I don't need someone and I can make it with out them.
I like any type of music. But I prefer something that is easy to listen to [like no screaming or rapping or anything like that] Something indie would be okay.
Help me please, it's VERY important. (link)

2.)Your Guardian Angel by the Red jumpsuit Apparatus.
3.)Grand Theft Autumn by Fall Out Boy
4.)Hate (I Really Really Really Don't Like You) by the Plain White T's

Well, I really like her. She went out with my best friend. But he moved to a total different state. And so they broke up. This was about three months ago. Well, me and her started getting closer. And now, I can say I have feelings for her. And I am pretty sure she feels the same way. Well, I want to tell her. And I want to make her CD.
My question is:
Is there any good songs for my situations?
[Any type is good. But no screaming or any of the hardcore stuff] (link)

a few really good ones are:
Your Guardian Angel by the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus [it's acoustic with slight rock]
Dear Jamie Sincerely Me by Hellogoodbye [it has a pop sound with rock and techno background music]
Swing Life Away by Rise Against [acoustic.]
Our Time Now by the Plain White T's [mostly rock]
Vulnerable by Secondhand Serenade [acoustic.]
that's all i can think of right now. sorry that about half of them are acoustic if that's not what you're looking for. these are some of my favorites. hope i helped. :]

okay so i play volleyball and i love it. but i hate the little shorts u have to wear cause i hate my legs. and like im embarresed to where the shorts like to the point where when i do wear them i want to start crying. sometimes i will. and like i dont know what to do about it cause i hate feeling like that. help? (link)

well what i do for volleyball is: i wear my spandex shorts like i have to, but if we're going to an away game or something, i wear a longer, looser pair of shorts over my spandex so when we go to warm up for the game, i take the longer ones off. and during the game while you're playing, everyone is paying attention to how the game is being played, not how you look, so no need to sweat about how your legs look. everything'll be ok. :]
hope i helped at all. :]

So I only told one person. I told my best friend Beth about how I like my sister's boyfriend's brother, Jesse, and she told someone who told someone who told someone else, blah blah blah... You know how it goes.
Now the entire school knows it. All of junior high, all the freshmen, sophmores, seniors... Everyone. People I have never heard of know it. Even Jesse knows it. I'm so embarrassed, but I'm sorta glad it happened because I know that I never would have found the guts to tell him I like him.
He's a grade ahead of me. He's in 8th grade. I'm only a sevy that no one knows. But I see him all the time.
Anyway, I keep catching him looking at me now, and then he looks away when I look at him. And then once in the hallway switching classes for first period, Beth and I passed him.
I looked down at my feet sort of pretending like I had no idea he was there, but Beth saw him and she told me later that he turned around, saw me, and just froze and stared at me then walked off once we passed.
Then we got to first period, sat down and Beth said "I think he likes you!" Then I said "Yeah, more like he thinks I'm a freak."
Am I just being paranoid or do you think Beth may have been right? (link)

ok, well pretty much the same thing happened to me.
honestly, it made everything much better for me. the guy i liked started talk to me more and we grew closer and what not.
anyways, my point to this is: don't worry about it. if he really does like you, who knows? he might ask you out. only a year's difference isn't bad at all.
and if he really does think you're a freak, let him go! he obviously is a jerk and you don't need him.
hope this helped. :]

how would you know if a guy likes you??
(link)
|
ok. in my opinion there's a few ways to start to tell.
1)what the person who answered this before me said: non-stop flirting.
2)you keep notice him staring at you
or 3)he'll start to compliment you.
just a few things i've noticed myself. :]

ok so i live in connceticut which is like this little kinda rich place in the us and i go to a really preppy school wereanytrhing that doesn't fit into the hollister look is emo. now im a guy so ofcourse im gonna get alot more crap about the whole emo look or whatevr but i dont think i shou8ld change for people i mean theres only like five kids out of the whole school that would fit into the punk skater look counting me and i hate being called gay or fag because i wear like skinny jeans and died my hair burguny. What do you think i should do about it. any advice helps =) (link)

i would say don't change...at all.
you know, if people don't like you it's their problem, not yours.
let them actually get to know you instead of your appearence.

Well everyone in my grade goes to all the school games and stuff, the problem is I dont and I want to be involved in that kind of stuff. Except the problem is that my enemie usuallly goes and I don't want drama. And she turned a lot of people againest me last year for no reason. What can I do to be more involved and get popular! (link)
|
my advice:
i would go to the games with your REAL friends; friends who won't start all that drama crap and who you'll have a good time with.
and trust me, i've been through the same problem where i had a lot of people turned on me for no real reason.
what i did was i found out who my true friends were and i started to hang out with them more and more.
now i don't even associate with the people who like to start stuff with me because honestly, i hate how they are now with all of their drama and what not.
my point to all of this is that i suggest going with your friends who will stick up for you even IF the people who like to start the drama try to get you into it and who you'll have an awesome time with.

This question is just to get opinions:
If someone you knew told you that they cut themselves, what would your first reaction be? Would you think they were crazy, would you try to help them, would you be scared of them, or what? (link)
|
ok, well i had a friend who cut themselves about a year ago.
i was devestated for them.
I still remained her friend.
but honestly, cutting doesn't seem worth it to me.
i mean, yeah, we ALL have our problems, no denying it, but i just don't think it's the way to go.
and you know, i just recently went through the same problems my friend did a year ago and i'm cut free, and plan to remain that way.
i feel that if you really do have issues that you feel like you need to hurt yourself, you should talk to someone who will LISTEN and UNDERSTAND what you're going through. that's what i do. i talk to the people involved in my life who care the most about me.
