I get my nails done at a salon. I had tips, but they've grown out and I still get them filled in every two weeks, so it's just the acryllic over my natural nails. I get French tips airbrushed on instead of another nail polish color.

I go tanning and ever since I started using this new tanning lotion that has hemp in it. After a couple times using it, my nails started turning yellow! I think it's the lotion messing with the nail polish and turning it yellow, because once I take off the polish, it's not yellow anymore. Do you think it's the hemp or something else? Because my last lotion never did that.

Whether it's the hemp or not, I can't stop using that lotion until it runs out because they're so expensive, so how can I avoid my nails turning yellow? Is there a way I can apply the lotion without it getting on my nails? Because I still need it on my hands because it has a little bit of bronzer in it, so I don't want to get uneven.

lotion has some weird ingredint in it that will eat away at thte nail glue and turn them yellow .

avoid lotion on your hands .
if it is unavoidable,
wash them ASAP !

and leggings

okay i need a new dress by next weekend because i have to go to a bar mitzvha and it has to be kinda formal but not to dressy and perfeibly black and a little of another color i also has to have sleeves not long sleeves and no spaghetti straps. and I'd like to show a little leg, I've tried target, wall mart, h&m, and fashion bug but i can come up with anything i like. so if you could possibly recommend a store (in ny plz).

just go to 5th ave.
walk down the whole street until you see something you love .
and i guarentee you will find somehting .

if you want something more affordable,
go to SoHo,
there are SO MANY affordable boutiques .

My 1 year anniversary is coming up and I have no idea what to get/make my boyfriend. I can't make a scrapbook because we really don't like taking pictures. I've already written reasons why I love him for our 7 month anniversary, there was 1 reason for every day we we've been together. I'm really good with making things, but I hav a bit of a mental block right now.

So... what should I make him? Or should I buy him something? A list of ideas would be awesome.

(a little about him- he doesn't drink or do drugs, he's really into his car, and he's a "computer nerd")

this is a tough one .

1. Make a basket, fill it with everything that reminds you about him and all the memories you have had . [it doesnt have to be a basket, just something that holds stuff]

2. You dont have to get him something, maybe take him out to dinner, a walk on the beach, a romantic picnic, just something to how him you love him .

I'm having trouble finding a shampoo/conditioner for color treated hair. I have these 5 brands down for thoughts pantene,fructis,sunsilk,herbal essences,dove. for color treated hair. If anyone has used those, please tell me your reviews on them or on any other color treated product you have used. please nothing expensive like salon things i just want store prices. thanks

So today my mom threw out all of my makeup and brushes (even the expensive stuff and the brand new stuff) because she says it could have mono germs on it from when I had mono last month (i know.. wtf?!).
It was about $90 worth of makeup that was mostly given to me as gifts. So now that I need a whole new makeup supply, I kind of need suggestions because I have never really gone shopping for makeup before. I would like a mid-range product, not quite MAC, but not the $4 foundations either...
I am fair, with dark brown almond shaped eyes and medium-a little dark brown hair.
I would like to get--
-Mascara (just to lengthen and curl)
-Eyeliner pencil
-Loose powder, or liquid foundation
-Eyeshadow
-Blush (powder)
-Concealer
and any other products you swear by.

If you have any suggestions of your favorite products, I would love you forever!

I got my new pair of Converse Chucks shoes yesterday, but on the box it says size 4 mens, and size 6 womens. But on the receipt it says MENS! Is this a good/bad thing for a *girl* to have MENS shoes? Are Converse Chucks men's and women's shoes kinda made/are the same way? I don't know if it's me, but they really DO look like men's shoes and it's kinda embarrassing if anyone knew! On the website converse.com, if you look at a shoe and roll over sizes in US womens then size 6, it would say "your converse size is 4" So I was wondering if I could still buy them online. (I don't think size 4 men's//6 women's and size 4 women's//6 women's are the same so I'm really worried I can't buy them online.)

what does a diffuser do and how do i use it?

a diffuser is an attachment for a blow dryer

it dries your hair without blowing around your style .
so its more heat, less 'wind'

do NOT do that .
it totally ruined my hair and made it feel like straw due to the acid content .
to make it really work you have to do it about 10 times and theres barely a difference besides the damage it does .
oh and dont use sun-in either .
it turns most peoples hair ORANGE .

hey. well, i'm 14/f. and i'm going to be starting high school. now, in middle school and stuff, i totally had my own style. like, i didn't wear hollister and ae, and pricy brands like that. i got things from like, charlotte russe, and the buckle, and wet seal and stuff. well, over the summer, that sorta changed. i got a few shirts from hollister, and a few shirts from ae. but idk if thats what i wanna do. i mean, i still wear clothes from wet seal and stuff. but i kinda liked having clothes that were just cute and not all brands. i mean, i don't really care what people think of me. but i'm not sure what to do. i really like clothes like Miley Cyrus, Ashley Tisdale, Lauren Conrad, and Audrina Patridge (from The Hills on mtv). i really like the style of clothes they wear. should i just like save up money so i can buy cute clothes on the internet like at Forever 21, Alloy, and Delia's?? cause i dont have those kinda stores around me. what should i do??? please don't tell me to wear what i want, because i know how to do that, i just want someones opinion. thanks!

i think you should keep your own 'style' going and mix it up with all of the brands and stores you like .
remember, mixing brands looks cute if you do it right !

Ok I live where all the girls are major sluts and the guys are sex fiends and I've never even kissed a guy [[I mean I have kissed on the mouth but not french or anything]] and a guy I really liked is getting into me and he wants to makeout with me but I gave him an excuse because he's REALLY experienced with girls. ok, so for my birthday, me and a bunch of my friends are going shopping on 5th avenue. (nyc, of course.) but... the last time I went shopping there was when I was about 5... so I'm not quite sure about many of the stores. I would love if someone could give me links to a map of 5th avenue, a list of shops to check out, or more info that you think I would find helpful. I have been googling phrases like '5th avenue nyc' and 'stores on 5th avenue' but it hasn't been very helpful.
And does anyone know if the store Strawberry has a website??? because I've been looking for it forever and I would really really love it if someone could give me a link to it or tell me that it doesn't have a website please!
